FAQ

  • What's the dress code?

The dress code is semi-formal to cocktail attire. The ceremony is in a garden (grass), but the reception will be in a covered tent with flooring. Please keep an eye on the forecast — the temperature in mid-May can be hot.

  • How do I get there?

Bartram’s Garden is in Southwest Philadelphia and not easily accessible by public transit. We recommend rideshare or driving. There will be free valet at the venue.

  • Is there parking?

Yes! There will be complimentary valet at the venue.

  • Where should I stay?

Accommodations near the venue aren’t ideal. Our travel page provides several options around the city.

  • Do you know you're having the wedding on Friday the 13th?

Yep. Due to many couples having to reschedule their 2020 weddings, most Saturdays were already booked. As horror movie fans, we decided to embrace the date.

  • Can we bring our kids?

Yes, you may! We want you to do whatever is most convenient for you. Bring ‘em, leave ‘em at home, or contact us for trusted childcare options in Philly if you’d like a kids-free night.

  • What's your vaccination policy?

We are requiring all adults and eligible children to be vaccinated in order to attend the wedding and other weekend events. Please note that Philly has a mask mandate and proof of vaccination is required by nearly all indoor establishments.
